I am also an advocate for anti-bullying of any age, any race or belief system. I say what I mean and mean what I say, and I have a huge heart for any child or adult with physical challenges of any kind; this includes those with developmental or emotional challenges. These challenges, after all, are not out-of-body challenges.

    1. Art is an interesting phenomena. There will always be those who don’t like any piece, no matter how famous or good the artist might be. But the good thing is that art speaks to everyone regardless of their personal beliefs, languages, cultures, etc. It is a highly important means of communications.

Like when an artist stops at the point he/she thinks it’s perfect and the viewer take it to further interpretation with his / her life experiences.. like paintings are decoded are same way it different from the viewers point of view, same goes with poem and stories, that’s why understanding of Art and it’s incompleteness,live our lives ☺️, and Anne I am excited to meet an artist looking forward to see your works💐

  4. I wanted to let you know not to expect painting, though I do paint on some of my quilts. Mostly I am a fiber artist (or art quilter) and also a mixed media and urban artist. I will post pieces perhaps tomorrow of things I have done, or this weekend at least. So nice to hear from you.

  5. This is a fascinating discussion spawned by a thought-provoking post. Josh, I like the idea of the incompleteness of art, that the viewer finishes it in his or her own way.   6. Oh, I so love this! You are definitely my kind of empowered woman and more power to you for getting it out. I subscribe for another blog, http://www.rivrvlogr.wordpress.com, and he writes in some other styles besides the haiku style, and I have never heard him once be judgmental about the forms. He just writes his different forms and enjoys them very much. You are truly an amazing woman and one I would label as a hero, or someone to look up to. It is sometimes very hard to stick to what we like despite what everyone else says. I have been severely bullied for following my own heart and mind in the things I love and/or wanted to do to learn more about them. When I chose to get involved with my community in criminal justice volunteering and also in serving on the City Commission as a volunteer, people in my senior mobile home park hated me, and every single thing I did that was in my heart to do. My art, my writing, etc. They could not tolerate anyone doing anything that was not “approved” by them, and I ended up getting hurt physically and It took me a long time to recover mentally. I like the way you supported what you like. I think I have a quote that I will post today about instructors who have to always be better than everyone else. So glad to know you!
